Visit Ireland’s Medieval and Viking museum, Dublinia, this winter to see Mystic Dublin, the temporary exhibition showcasing Dublin’s Mystic past and how these ancient traditions have continued to this day.
In medieval times, Dublin and Ireland were lands of mystery, uncertainty, and danger. People turned to magic for a sense of control over these unpredictable forces. Today, modern Dublin still holds traces of its mystic past. Elements of daily life continue to reflect a belief in the power of magic.
