Medieval Dublin, a vibrant yet unpredictable place where magic, superstition, and ancient traditions influenced daily life. Visit Ireland’s Medieval and Viking museum, Dublinia, this winter to see Mystic Dublin, the temporary exhibition showcasing Dublin’s Mystic past and how these ancient traditions have continued to this day.

In medieval times, Dublin and Ireland were lands of mystery, uncertainty, and danger. People turned to magic for a sense of control over these unpredictable forces. Today, modern Dublin still holds traces of its mystic past. Elements of daily life continue to reflect a belief in the power of magic. In the new exhibition at Dublinia, discover the connections between ancient mystic Dublin and the present day. How do these historical beliefs resonate with our lives today?

Dublinia also host regular workshops for families, including a number of upcoming mystical themed events for families including Magic Wand and Spell Jar making.

Dublinia’s historic home lies at the heart of Viking and Medieval Dublin at Christ Church. Within a landmark building called the Synod Hall, through Dublinia travel back to Dublin’s historic Viking and Medieval past.
